Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for a Braddock, PA location. You will patrol, control access, and respond to incidents at an industrial site, providing strong customer service and a secure environment.

The role operates on Saturdays and Sundays mornings, with a 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule. This position offers flexible shifts and opportunities to grow within AUS.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, rail or truck traffic areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor entry, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate incident reports.
• Observe and report hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
