Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Status Reporting in Bedford Park, IL to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution facilities. You will patrol, monitor access points, and deliver customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required by policy.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by following site procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, damaged property, unusual activity, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
