Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Site Access in Savannah, GA. You will protect clients across a chemical/petrochemical facility, manage access points, and maintain a visible security presence.

The role offers a flexible schedule and competitive pay at $18.00 per hour. A TSA TWIC, high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license are required; prior security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and per site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and documenting visitor and vehicle activity.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating professionally with staff and responders.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vehicle activity, and communicating access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records while communicating professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
