Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) in Maple Grove, MN to safeguard clients across aerospace and defense locations. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service while following site protocols.

Pay Rate: $27.94 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
