Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer – Perimeter Patrol Driver at Research Triangle Park, NC. You will provide security services for a commercial real estate site, focusing on customer service and visible presence to deter incidents.

You will perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and respond to alarms while adhering to site policies and safety procedures. A valid driver’s license and background screening are required.

Qualifications

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver attentive customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entry points, common areas, and property perimeters to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
