Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced, part-time, unarmed patrol at Robinson Township, PA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $19.46 per hour. The schedule includes DayTime and weekend shifts; six-month anchor commitment applies, with potential to scale to a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, and communicate observations to site contacts or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns per site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly retail environment by providing directions and documenting incidents and patrols.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Robinson Township, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.46 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeFri05:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat05:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun05:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly retail environment by providing directions, supporting crowd-management needs, and documenting incidents and patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
