Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Reception Concierge in West Jefferson, OH. You will greet visitors, manage front desk operations, verify credentials, and enforce access procedures at a manufacturing/industrial site.

Position offers part-time hours with an option to build a flexible schedule and explore additional shifts via our platform. Successful candidates will perform customer service, enforce safety protocols, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Staff the front desk in a professional manner, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
• Monitor incoming calls, deliveries, and front entrance activity, reporting suspicious activity, access concerns, and security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Maintain awareness of location procedures, including visitor requirements, restricted-area access, and delivery coordination.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
