As a part‑time role with potential for full‑time work, you’ll protect patients, staff, and visitors, monitor access, and support a professional front desk presence at a healthcare location.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• At least two years of healthcare/medical field experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by employment law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols at a healthcare location.
• Monitor the front desk area, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site personnel and responders.
• Deter unauthorized access by watching activity, following visitor management procedures, and reporting concerns.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, answer calls, provide directions, and support a welcoming environment for care and education services.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Clinical Reception in PEAPACK , NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Thur 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor the front desk area, greet and direct visitors, verify visitor credentials as required, and maintain visitor logs and other required documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, communicating with site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry activity, following visitor management procedures, and reporting suspicious activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, answer incoming calls, provide directions and information, and support a welcoming environment for individuals receiving care and educational services.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security‑related experience.
• Possess supervisory experience.
• Possess at least two years of experience in a healthcare or medical‑related field.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
