Qualifications

• A state/city-issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional front desk customer service by greeting visitors, employees, contractors, and/or delivery personnel in a professional manner at a telecommunications and media location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining sign-in records, and directing guests according to site-specific procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, manage visitor inquiries, and communicate routine information to appropriate site contacts while maintaining confidentiality.
• Observe front lobby activity and report unusual, suspicious, or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
