Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following site policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate according to procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control while reporting suspicious activity.
• Document incidents and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 AM - 10:15 PM
• Sun: 09:00 AM - 07:15 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to members, guests, tenants, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, facility concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, assisting with access control procedures and reporting suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
