Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Access Control Clearance Required in Roy, UT. You will provide customer service, monitor access points, conduct patrols, and maintain logs in an aerospace/defense setting.

Role is full-time with a schedule including day and night shifts. Must have a valid DoD Secret Clearance, at least 1 year in security, and a high school diploma. A driver’s license is required for driving positions, with additional licensing as applicable.

As a Security Officer Access Control Clearance Required in Roy, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, document visitor and contractor activity, and report irregularities to appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
