Allied Universal in Coatesville, PA is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for a technology, media, and telecom location. You will perform unarmed patrols, provide customer service, and maintain a visible presence to deter issues.

Position type: Part Time. Pay rate: $22.00 per hour. Shifts include DayTime Sat06:30 AM - 03:30 PM and Sun06:30 AM - 03:30 PM. Join a team that values reliability, integrity, and community service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift pass-down information while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology-focused environment.
