Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Bear, DE. The role offers flexible, reliable hours with a fixed anchor shift and optional additional shifts through the Earn-A-Shift program to boost earnings.

Primary duties include customer service, patrols, and incident response to maintain a secure environment. Ideal candidates have customer service experience, badge/access control familiarity, and basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Bear, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 04:30 PM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‐Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
