Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, vendors, and visitors while following security procedures.
• Monitor access points and maintain logs of visitors and authorized entrants.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of construction sites and surrounding areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms and notify site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity and incident reports for leadership and site management.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate construction location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-oriented culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

• Friday: 11:30 PM - 11:30 AM
• Saturday: 11:30 PM - 11:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, vendors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial construction areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
