As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and faculty while carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of educational buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established reporting procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security‑related activities accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
