Job summary

Allied Universal in Independence, KY is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Foot Patrol. You will provide customer service to employees and visitors, conduct regular unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while following site procedures.

Qualifications

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and help verify that authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers follow site entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and/or policy violations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
