Qualifications

• Eligible for licensing where required and a valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM; Fri 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and help support visitor management procedures, including directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting access concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and observation reports in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
