Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at public transportation locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, stations, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel and public agencies.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and maintain accurate records of incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
• Assist with directing visitors and providing information while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
