Allied Universal in El Segundo, CA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol Driver with a DoD Secret Clearance. The role includes patrolling aerospace/defense sites, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

This driving position offers flexible day/evening shifts, 2+ years security experience, and compliance with site procedures. Pay is $23.63 per hour with required background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; report observations and complete required documentation.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Communicate promptly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders regarding incidents, hazards, and operational concerns.
