Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol Driver in Tampa, FL to provide safe, professional security at banking sites. You will deter incidents, monitor access, and respond to alarms while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security experience required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen will be conducted.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to use strong communication and technology skills while working with a reliable, agile, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.11 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, lobbies, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with site personnel, visitors, and responding emergency services.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
