Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Compliance Security Officer in Miami, FL. You will perform vehicle and foot patrols, provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and preference for security licensing. Work hours include night shifts with a flexible, part-time schedule supporting a welcoming community

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using established reporting and escalation processes.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity per site access control procedures.
• Document incidents and patrols clearly and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, resident, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific access control procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
