Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Saint Pauls, NC to support access control and visitor management at a food and beverage location. You will enforce site policies, verify credentials, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license for driving positions, the ability to patrol the facility, and the flexibility to work Sat and Sun shifts. Paid training andshift-based pay are included.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen are required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the food and beverage facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and following entry and exit protocols.
• Screen visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements and direct authorized personnel to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access-control concerns, and conditions requiring attention.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $13.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
