Allied Universal in Baltimore, MD is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Patrol Driver to provide dependable hours at an assigned site and the option to pick up additional shifts.

The role includes customer service, unarmed patrols, access control, and incident response, with a fixed anchor shift and opportunities for growth through scheduling platform, up to 40 hours/week when needed.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site‑specific procedures and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access concerns or suspicious conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and notification procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Baltimore, MD, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
