• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures and direct visitors to appropriate locations.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting security-related operations in a fast-paced technology environment.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Documentation in Wilmington, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with access requests and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting security‑related operations in a fast‑paced technology environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
