Qualifications

• Primarily a driving post.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a public utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and critical infrastructure to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, patrol, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual conditions, and critical situations calmly, notifying site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations per site procedures.

You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, complete reports using computer or tablet tools, and contribute to a caring, reliable team culture built on integrity.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
