Job summary

Allied Universal in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Credentialing Security Officer. You will protect client sites across logistics and distribution, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service while following site policies.

This role offers a flexible, part-time schedule with shift-based hours and access to our Claim a Shift platform to pick up additional shifts. A valid driver’s license and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support the verification of authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers entering and exiting the location.
• Document incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
