• Assist with visitor access, directions, and wayfinding while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents and patrol activities and communicate details to site leadership and responders.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:45 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 10:45 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and medical-related emergencies in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Assist with visitor access procedures, directions, and wayfinding while maintaining a professional presence in public-facing areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
