Job summary

Allied Universal in Renton, WA is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Patrol Attendant to provide unarmed patrols, customer service, and incident response at an industrial site.

The role offers flexible scheduling, with night shifts Tue and Thur 10:00 PM–6:00 AM; pay rate $23.50 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, background check, and compliance with licensing and drug-screen policies.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks required in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
