Allied Universal in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed Patrol). You will monitor and protect a retail and commercial location, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour. You will perform patrols, report observations, respond to concerns, and support a safe environment in collaboration with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious persons, incidents, and property concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
