You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Fri: 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and government personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, surrounding grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, patrol, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Communicate observations and concerns promptly to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and appropriate emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
