Allied Universal in Apex, NC is seeking a Part Time Security Officer – Entry Authorization to support client sites with access control, visitor verification, and safe, welcoming service.

As an entry authorization officer, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents. This role offers flexible weekend and weekday shifts with a pay rate of $20 per hour and opportunities to learn our shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the location by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and maintaining accurate visitor and access records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
