Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Response Driver for Brookwood, AL. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings while gaining experience across multiple sites.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and a commitment to a 6-month anchor shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, facilities, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, equipment hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Response Driver in Brookwood, AL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thur 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
