Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Mobile Patrol in Mount Vernon, WA. You will protect clients across industries, deter security incidents, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and unusual activities.

What You'll Do
