Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Auburn, WA. The role involves safeguarding clients across retail locations, performing routine vehicle and foot patrols, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

You will handle access control, observe for suspicious activity, and assist customers and staff with professionalism. The position offers flexible shifts and growth within a values-driven security team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity at the location to help identify unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and potential loss-prevention concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
