Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Primarily a driving post; valid driver’s license required for driving roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology location by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, document entries and observations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report actions clearly to relevant personnel.
• Support a professional workplace by communicating site policies and assisting client representatives.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support badge procedures. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Fri 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sat 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, office areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document entries, exits, and security-related observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare clear, accurate reports.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating site policies, providing directions, and collaborating with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
