Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Loss Prevention Patrol Security Officer in Sunnyvale, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This role involves access control, report writing, and collaborating with site staff. Prior loss prevention or security experience is preferred; a HS diploma and background check are required; X-ray screening experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail areas, stockrooms, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious conditions and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and support access control and loss-prevention activities. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail areas, stockrooms, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
