Allied Universal in Carson, CA is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) at a logistics site. You will monitor areas, perform patrols, assist employees and visitors, and help deter security incidents while providing courteous service.

This role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to advance. Pay rate is $21.00 per hour. Training and benefits are provided; you’ll join a national team that values integrity and customer care.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and assist with vehicle and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain accurate logs of patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
