Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and employees while conducting screening.
• Screen individuals and items entering the facility per site protocols.
• Verify visitor credentials and direct guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate to appropriate personnel or agencies when needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas and report security concerns.

Pay Rate: $22.09 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out screening procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen individuals and permitted items entering the facility using established access‑control and screening procedures, escalating prohibited or suspicious items in accordance with site protocols.
• Verify visitor credentials, direct guests to appropriate locations, and maintain accurate entry and incident documentation as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and public agencies when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and nearby perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and report security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
