You will greet visitors, verify access, issue credentials, monitor entries, and respond to incidents following healthcare location procedures, while maintaining clear communication with site personnel

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Must be 18+ years old (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry records.
• Monitor access to the location, communicate visitor protocols, and deter unauthorized entry through observation and reporting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly following location procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

As a Security Officer Part Time Lobby Operations in Clifton, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 01:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access requirements, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry records.
• Monitor access to the location, communicate visitor protocols, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive observation and reporting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with site personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
