As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $19.25 - $20.25 / Hour

• Mon 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, exterior areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Observe loading, receiving, and employee entrance areas for unusual conditions and report security-related concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
