Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Deliver outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed05:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur05:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, authorizing entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintaining visitor and contractor records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
