Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Port Isabel, TX to patrol and protect financial institution locations, ensure safety, and deliver excellent service to clients and visitors.

You will monitor entrances, respond to incidents, document observations, and maintain a professional presence while supporting site leadership and management. This role offers flexible part‑time scheduling and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements for a financial institution location.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
