Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by performing security procedures and following site policies.
• Control access by verifying credentials, issuing passes, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals.
• Monitor entry/exit points, gates, and access control systems; report suspicious activity or equipment concerns.
• Respond to incidents and document events per site requirements in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor and contractor passes, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle gates, and access control systems; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
