Allied Universal in Vance, AL is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Credential Issuance to protect clients across automotive facilities. You will manage badge access, monitor entry points, assist visitors and employees with service, and document activity using computer and tablet systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor passes, and maintain access-control records.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles, deliveries, and personnel at gates or facility entrances.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and perimeter locations to identify unauthorized access.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles, deliveries, and personnel at designated gates or facility entrances in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned automotive facility areas and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
