Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Hospital Patrol in Arcadia, CA. This flexible role offers reliable hours with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

You will provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, respond to incidents, patrol hospital facilities, monitor access points, and document activities with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Two years of service in healthcare or medical field.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to identify hazards or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and maintain professional communication with hospital personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security observations accurately and promptly.

As a Security Officer Part Time Hospital Patrolin Arcadia, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue06:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun06:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site‑specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and maintain professional communication with hospital personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security‑related observations accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
