Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for a Hospital Immunization Center in the Bronx, NY. You will provide customer service and security, patrol assigned areas, and respond to incidents to ensure a safe healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Driver's license required only for driving positions.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and others at a government healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and information, and help maintain an orderly environment for healthcare operations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
