Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while performing security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors and exteriors to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare incident and daily activity reports as required by site-specific requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
