As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property representatives by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and resident activity in accordance with community policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and maintenance-related reports and communicate relevant observations to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
