Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 07:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Wed: 07:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Thur: 07:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Sat: 07:30 AM - 01:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, clergy, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a cultural institution.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
