This role offers reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to pick up extra shifts. Pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Schedule: DayTime Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM. Responsibilities include front desk duties, visitor management, access control, incident response, and customer service to tenants and visitors.

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors and client representatives per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Guest Services in Wilmington, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and client representatives by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor entry activity, access‑control systems, and communications at the front desk while helping to deter unauthorized access to the commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific protocols.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related matters and site activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
